solar bay
Do you love jewelries? Do you have any idea how designers and makers create those eye catching jewelries? In this next article, you will learn all the techniques in creating irresistible jewelry and readers will surely learn a lot from reading this.

Creating irresistible jewelry takes a lot of hard work and imagination to both to the designers and makers. They often dedicate their time in preparing for the most eye catching designs they could ever create to attract the buyer’s attention. Designers and makers consider a lot of things before they create their masterpieces. They choose the perfect materials for the right designs to attain exceptional results from their works.

Designers and makers feel a certain joy every time they created a magnificent piece. Creating irresistible jewelry needs a lot of creativity, perseverance and even patience. Sometimes, designer and makers failed too in making their designs. But because of their perseverance to comply on the market demand today, they strive to do their best. Now it’s all up to the buyers on how they are going to choose the right jewelry for them that will suit their features and budget.

In creating irresistible jewelry, the designers and makers, as I’ve stated before also consider a lot of things from their buyers. They consider the buyers’ personal statement of style, to fit every taste and every budget. Even the skin tone and facial features are also considered to make the jewelry stand out. When choosing for the right jewelry it is also like choosing the right and proper attire that will suit the occasion. The height and even the bone structure is also considered.

Here are some ways of choosing your jewelry which falls under the rule of creating irresistible jewelry:

•    Petite (Under 5'4") Necklaces Petite women is advisable to wear collar-length or longer necklaces.

•    Bracelets Bangles will flatter petite women. Petite women should wear several narrow ones are more flattering than one wide bangle.

•    Full-figured petites or what they call chubby look especially good in sharp, geometric shapes of earrings.

•    Wide bracelets are more in proportion to the average-height woman with average built of body than very narrow bracelets or bangles.

•    Earrings choices can be unlimited but you should consider the facial feature as well as the skin tone and even the hair styles. Feel free to pick and choose exciting geometric shapes such as triangles, squares and ovals.

•    If the woman is tall ((Over 5'7") necklaces which are almost any length goes well. Thin and tall woman may select chokers that cut the line of the neck and de-emphasize height.

•    Dangling earrings are the most flattering design for tall women.

•    If you have round feature, the aim of wearing jewelry is to add up height. if you have these features you should look for long necklaces, 28" to 32".

Common Jewelry Making Mistakes to Avoid

Have you tried making your own jewelry? Was it successful or you just failed to create the design you want on your jewelry? This article will tackle everything about the common jewelry making mistakes to avoid guaranteeing a successful result.
Solarbay

One of the common jewelry making mistakes to avoid is first the mistakes beginners often experience is when they choose a certain design, they thought it would be a lot easier to try in on their own hands which of course, it’s not. Not all designs are suited for novice jewelry makers so make sure that you choose for the simplest and novice perfect design to practice your craft on them first. By following this, you could appreciate the beauty of jewelry making more and would even inspire you more to try for another set which can be also great for personal gifts to your loved ones.

The second common jewelry making mistakes to avoid is when novice jewelry maker don’t follow the basic rule such as measuring and cut the wire into the right length, making a loop on the end of the wire and how the wire should be straighten out. This three basic steps are very easy to follow and will contribute to a successful jewelry if novice jewelry maker will only follow and put into practice first. When novice makers don’t follow these rules, the outcome has some irregularities on it both in the designs and length of the jewelry.

The next common jewelry making mistakes to avoid is when novice jewelry maker used and placed all the pegs in the patterns of the design at the start of the jewelry. What all novices don’t know is that first you have to put only two pegs then as you continue to work on your jewelry; you add more pegs as you go with it. Make sure to start with two pegs only so it will be a lot easier for you to add up more pegs in the middle of your project up to the end. By following this, you could achieve the perfect design of jewelry you want.

Another common jewelry making mistakes to avoid is when a novice jewelry maker is in not pushing the wire with just one finger while they hold and move the jig with their non-dominant hand. The most important thing about wire component is to keep the wire straight until you are ready to bend it against or around a peg. The last thing to remember is to never release your grip because this will only allows the wire to relax back to its normal position. Make sure to follow all these rules and tips to avoid any common jewelry making mistakes. By following this from the start of your project, expect to have beautiful and perfect results. Who knows you might even now start with a more tricky designs and patterns that at the end will give you more smiles.

Experimental hydroponics have appeared from the 17th century when biologists discovered that plants can grow without soil. Even if it experimental hydroponics have a long history, the real progress in the field appeared after 1970 when plastics began to be used reducing technological expenses and stimulating farmers to think about the system's viability.

A historical view on experimental hydroponics

The first experimental hydroponics project from Europe was started in England and shortly after that in France. Growing mint was the first such successful project initiated in 1699. Later in 1860 and then in 1938 different techniques were developed in Germany. In US experimental hydroponics was founded in 1925; researches continued with a smaller interest until 1970 when plastic was discovered allowing low cost systems to be easily implemented. After plastic became a common thing, experimental hydroponics extended to Europe and Asia.

Arid regions from all over the world like Iran, Arizona or Abu Dhabi were used for implementing experimental hydroponics in an effort of combining the advantages of solar radiation with the humidity provided by hydroponics; the main benefit of hydroponics is that it uses 90% less water than traditional soil agriculture.

From 1973 when oil price started to rise many investors lost their interest in experimental hydroponics, especially in US; bankruptcy and many financial problems followed for lots of experimental hydroponics system owners. A successful research in hydroponics was made in 1983 and 1985 and the interest in the subject was reestablished. At present when the concern to lower the level of chemical treatments applied to traditional crops is rising, experimental hydroponics has started to receive a lot more money in an effort to grow crops clean from ecological imbalances and other soil related problems.

What else can be said about experimental hydroponics?

Many systems were implemented to study plant health in an experimental hydroponics environment, and test the viability of an investment. It is common practice to invest in a small experimental hydroponics model that can predict the success of the project. As a general rule hydroponics is a good business if the growing crops can't be produced on the local market by traditional soil agriculture. In direct competition from similar soil crops, a hydroponic farmer doesn't stand a chance, but in the absence of a valid soil culture, hydroponics is unparalleled.

5 Pieces of Equipment #Gardeners Can’t Live Without

Hello again,  continuing with my spring gardening:
5 Pieces of Equipment Gardeners Can’t Live Without
by: solarbay
Gardening is fun and rewarding and may be considered a hobby, talent or both and sometimes it’s just luck. Gardening is not as easy as it looks and involves dedication, time and consistency and many trials and errors. There are many aspects to maintaining a healthy garden, but some aspects are more important than others. An individual who likes to garden can have the knowledge to produce the best garden in the world, but without the right equipment and materials it just wouldn’t be possible.

Below you will find a list of the top 5 pieces of equipment which gardeners simply cannot live without:

1. Trowel – A trowel is a shovel-like piece of equipment which is used to dig up dirt and set small plants. There are many styles to choose from and type of handle on your trowel will determine how well it works. Easy grip, non-slide and non-slip grips are the best form of handle to choose. These will be easier to use and will require less work than any other form of trowel. A trowel with no grip will be difficult to use and could end up ruining your garden. Try one out in your hand first to ensure it feels comfortable. There’s nothing like having your hand cramp or the trowel slip while using it to dig in a beautiful, new plant.

2. Pitchfork – A pitchfork is a gardening tool which has 2-6 prongs and a long handle. The sizes of pitchforks vary, depending on what they are being used for. The space between each prong varies as well. Pitchforks are used to separate, lift and throw loose pieces of material such as dirt and leaves.

3. Spade – A gardening spade has a long, thick handle and a heavy flat blade. This tool is used to dig up and move pieces of dirt from one place to another. It can also be used to pack down dirt once the flower has been planted.

4. Pruning Shears – Pruning shears are tools which have a long handles and blades. This type of gardening equipment is used to allow gardeners to precisely prune rose bushes and other plants and unruly vines, etc. It can also be used to cut the grass at the edges of walkways and garden beds, in those hard to reach places. It is also used to trim the edges and remove dead leaves or wood on flowers. There is no other piece of gardening equipment which can do the same job as pruning shears. Without the use of this piece of equipment, your garden will end up looking messy and disorganized. Always, always, always invest in good quality pruning shears. Good ones have a lifetime guarantee and low-end ones will make shrapnel of your heritage rose.

5. Wheelbarrow – A wheelbarrow is one of the larger pieces of garden equipment. It is a cart with a handle and at least one wheel which is designed for easy transportation of materials from one place to another. Purchasing a wheelbarrow will save you a lot of time and effort, especially if you are off to the compost heap, and will make for a pleasant gardening experience. Another option is the 4-wheeled gardening cart.

Hydroponics gardening is the answer!-#hydroponics #gardening #crafts #hobby

Want a garden, but don’t have enough dirt or space? Hydroponics gardening is the answer!

Hydroponics gardening is the perfect solution for anybody who wants a garden, but does not have enough space or dirt. Hydroponics gardening is, simply put, a method of growing plants using a nutrient solution instead of dirt. With hydroponics gardening, you are able to grow beautiful flowers and delicious vegetables virtually anywhere you want. In addition, hydroponics gardening requires much less maintenance than a normal garden would. In fact, you will usually spend less than five minutes a day maintaining your hydroponics garden. Every few weeks the nutrient solution will have to be replaced, but that too will only take a few minutes. While some heavy fruiting vegetables like tomatoes and peppers may not be able to thrive in the nutrient solution, almost all other types of flowers and vegetables will just fine in a hydroponics garden.

Tips for the person new to Hydroponics Gardening.

While hydroponics gardening might seem difficult to a person doing it for the first time, you will be able to quickly get the hang of it. Just like you need gardening supplies for a regular garden, you will need hydroponics gardening supplies for hydroponics gardening. The most common method of hydroponics gardening is the passive system. In the passive system, plants will sit directly in the nutrient solution. Because the solution might cause the plants to rot if not oxygenated, all passive systems come with an aquarium air bubbler, which will oxygenate the nutrient solution. If you find the hydroponics gardening method that is right for you, you will soon be enjoying all the gardening hydroponics vegetables, flowers and fruit that you could possible want.

How to Place Home Theater Speakers
by: Jon Martin

You have your television and home theater receiver; you just bought your new speakers and subwoofer and are ready to test things out. It's time to break out the measuring tape because precision is vital to achieving the full potential of your home theater system. For this article, we are going to focus on a 5.1 surround sound system. The term "5.1" refers to the number of speakers and subwoofers in the system respectively. So for a 5.1 surround sound system, there are five speakers (the center channel, the two front speakers, and the two rear speakers) and one subwoofer. When placing your home theater speakers, try to use the same amount of speaker wire for each type of speaker. For example, use the same length of wire for each of the front speakers. This will allow the signal to reach each speaker in about the same instant. I say “about” because there are variations in the wire which could cause the signal to reach one speaker slightly (fractions of a fraction of a second) before the other. By making the two lengths equal, you ensure that this delay remains tiny and unnoticeable.

Center Channel The center channel should always be placed either immediately above or immediately below the viewing screen. Make sure the speaker is pointed directly at the audience.

Front Speakers The two front speakers should be the same distance from the audience as the center channel. Doing this will ensure that the sound will travel from each speaker to the audience in the same amount of time and reduce the chances of there being a noticeable delay between what takes place on screen to when you hear it. Each of the front speakers should also be positioned an equal distance from the TV on either side. This distance is dependant on your specific tastes; just make sure that the distances are both equal.

Rear Speakers The rear speakers should be mounted on the walls on either side of the audience. Their purpose is to provide a sense of atmosphere, not provide the main sound for your home theater system. Therefore, they should not be pointed directly at the audience's ears or you risk over powering the center channel and the two front speakers. Again, distance is important. Try to have the rear speakers the same distance from the TV in order to use the same amount of speaker wire and if possible have them placed equidistance from the audience.

Subwoffer tones by their nature are more difficult to localize than the midrange and high notes of the other five speakers. This will give you more freedom as to where to place the subwoofer. However, the location surrounding the subwoofer can greatly influence the bass tones you hear. Placing the subwoofer in a corner or under a table will create a deeper resonating tone as the sound waves reflect off of the surfaces. The placement of the subwoofer is up to you, depending on the type of bass you want. Experiment with different locations and find the one that best suits your taste.

Realizing the full potential of your home theater speakers is not a difficult task. By following these guidelines, you will be ready to enjoy your home theater the way it was meant to be heard.

5 Most Popular Flowers for Your Garden

When planting a garden there are many questions which you must ask yourself before you begin. Where are you going to plant it, do you have the garden equipment to do so and how big do you want your garden to be? When do flowers bloom and what are their heights? These are all very important questions, however they mean very little if you have not yet decided which types of flowers you want to plant. There are many to choose from and don’t le anybody tell you which ones you can and can’t plant. Gardens are unique and fascinating to look at because each one is unique it its own way.

There are endless possibilities of flowers to choose from but if you are unsure of which types of flowers are known to look best in gardens, keep reading and you will find out. The following is a list of the five most popular types of garden flowers chosen by gardeners from all over the United States:

1. Cosmos - These flowers have the ability to grow anywhere from 12 inches to 4 feet tall. Cosmos are perfect for cutting gardens and are often picked out of gardens and used in flower arrangements.

2. Marigold  can be found in yellow, orange, red or a combination of all colors. This type of flower blooms in 45 to 50 days from sowing and very rarely requires additional water than what the rain provides.

3. Morning glories have heart shaped leaves and are available in a variety of colors including white, blue, red, pink and lavender. This type of flower has the capability to become more than ten feet high.

4. Zinnias are traditional, old fashioned flowers which are constantly blooming all season. If there is not a lot of rain, this type of flower will require watering on a consistent basis but try to get water on the foliage (leaves) as this can cause mold which can potentially cause the plant to die.

5. Sunflowers  no better flower for your garden than the sunflower. Sunflowers have yellowish-orange petal with a black circle in the middle. These flowers can grow to be as tall as 6 feet or possibly even higher depending on the flower itself.

In order for your garden to flourish successfully, you will have to maintain it and keep it healthy on a daily basis. Watering cans, pruning shears, gloves and spades are all types of gardening equipment which will assist you in keeping your garden in good condition. These pieces of equipment are very important and are relatively inexpensive.

The types of flowers you choose will have a large impact on the overall outcome of your garden. The list above was provided as a guideline for novice gardeners who area unsure of which flowers may be most adaptable to a garden atmosphere.

Which flowers you choose will ultimately be your choice and regardless of the kinds or colors of your flowers, your garden will be a wonderful piece of work for everyone to admire.

Thank-you,

Fishing By Moon Phase: Increase Your Catch

Every fisherman dreams of a bigger catch! Is it possible to know beforehand when you should plan a trip to enjoy some fishing, catch more than usual, and come home feeling 100% satisfied? Based on my own personal research around the best fishing times, I think it is.

When I first started fishing, the best fishing time for me was whatever time happened to suit me. I tried different lures, baits and techniques until I'd spent a small fortune in my quest to improve my fishing catch. When I finally heard about the "Solunar Theory"--or fishing by moon phase--like most anglers, I was skeptical.

What I'd read sounded too complicated. All sorts of factors needed to be checked and the determined angler needed to be at the water's edge at exactly the right time, TO THE MINUTE, in order to improve on his average catch. Was I really willing to take my hobby that seriously? Let's just say that curiosity got the better of me.

To help me determine whether there was any truth in the moon's effect on the best fishing times, I kept a record of every trip I made over a period of 18 months. All information related to the moon's phases, the weather conditions and the catches I made were carefully logged. What I discovered convinced me that moon phase fishing works. BUT, I also found that it isn't anywhere near as complicated as many would have us believe.

How Does Fishing By Moon Phase Work?
Every fisherman knows that the best fishing times are when the fish are feeding. This tends to be during dawn and dusk, but what often goes unnoticed are the two periods elsewhere in the day--moonrise and moonset. Because the moon has an effect on a variety of factors surrounding the fish--including the live fodder they hunt--these periods, combined with the moon's phase, are what trigger feeding.

By understanding this, and choosing times when sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset coincide with new or full moon phases, you'll increase you chance of a good fishing catch. Assuming there are fish in the area, of course.

Choosing The Best Fishing Times
There really is nothing complicated about this at all; it's just a matter of knowing ahead of time exactly when the sun and moon will rise and set. Fish are most active during 90-minute windows surrounding each of these four daily events; that's 45 minutes before and after these four daily points.

Fishing during these four periods will help increase your fishing catch, but if you plan wisely so as to ensure you're at the water's edge on the days of new or full moon, you can use these 'windows' to reel in a catch like you've never done before. If you have to choose between sunrise/set and moonrise/set, always go with the moon as the moon is the stronger influence.

Hunters have always known that fish and game are most active at dawn and dusk--sunrise and sunset--but their activity surrounding moonrise and moonset is less noticeable because these events are likely to occur without effecting any change in the perceived light. The rise and set of a new moon is invisible anyway, and overcast weather often hides the moon. Without prior knowledge of setting and rising times, two of the best fishing times will be missed every day!

Other Considerations
When planning your fishing by moon phase, there are certain other factors that should also be considered.

Weather - Severe weather changes have an impact on the way fish feed. When a storm's brewing, or just after one has passed, is a good time. If this happens while you're in place, you'll be in for a treat! However, if there's a cold front approaching, the fish are likely to move deeper into the water and become inactive.

Season - Most fish are more likely to bite willingly during seasonal transitions with the transition from winter to spring and summer to fall being the two best fishing times.

Now that you know that moon phase fishing really works, there's no reason why you shouldn't utilize this knowledge to increase your own fishing catch by being at the ready with your rod during the best fishing times available. It's easy and it works!
Note: Bass- Largemouth are shallow and on top water early in the morning and late evening. As the water warms, the fish are going deeper. Some Largemouth are still hanging near brush in the back of shaded pockets. White/blue or solid white spinner baits and white flukes are catching fish around brush. Buzz baits, Pop R’s, and bone color Spooks are good also.
Smallmouth are on points and steep banks. Shaky head worms in watermelon or green pumpkin are still catching the most fish. Plastic craws with 1/8oz sinker work well on rocky banks. Spinner baits, Flukes, Pop R’s, and Spooks have been good when fished early morning and late evening on top water. Crawfish pattern crank baits are catching some fish along bluffs along with a black/blue 3/8oz flipping jigs.

Good luck!

Make a Hemp Necklace

Make a hemp necklace
by: How to make a hemp necklace
Have you ever thought about making your own hemp necklace but thought it would probably just be too difficult or take too much time?
I am here to guide you step by step through the process of making a beautiful hemp necklace.

You will need the following materials:

  • A spool of hemp
  • Beads with large holes in them
  • Elmers glue
  • Really helps to have a project board and T pins but is not mandatory Ok, lets get started. First, you will need to cut one 5-yard length of hemp and one 2-yard length. You will fold these lengths in half with the 2-yard length on the inside and the 5-yard length on the outside. The reason being because the longer 5-yard cord will be what is called the knotter cords, which will be used to make the knots and the shorter 2-yard cord will be what are called the carrier cords which is used as an anchor to hold the knots. The cords will tend to be very long at first so you will want to butterfly them by wrapping them in a figure eight pattern around your fingers. Wrap them in the middle with rubber bands so they will stay together.

You will start by making a loop at the end by tying an overhand knot. Apply Elmer’s glue as you are tying it.

Now you need to line up your cords with the shorter ones on the inside and the longer ones on the outside. If you cannot get them to line up just right you will need to untie your knot and retie it with the cords lined up better.
You will now start tying your half square knots. You will do this by first making a loop with the cord to the far right. Bring the cord underneath the first two cords to the left and over the last one.
  •
Bring the cord on your far left over the two middle cords and through the loop.
You will continue to do this repeatedly until you reach an inch in length, which will be about 17 knots. You will now string your first bead on the two middle cords. Tie the two outer cords underneath the bead and continue these steps until you have knotted 6 ½ inches.
At this point you may attach a pendent to your necklace by stringing it onto the bottom cord. You will continue to knot and bead for another 6 ½ inches.
You are now almost done and you will tie another overhand knot at the end. Be sure to apply Elmer’s glue as you are tying it. You will have some left over length and you should cut the excess cords about 5 inches from the overhand knot so you have plenty of length to adjust and tie with.
You are now done and you have made a great hemp necklace!
